In my first year in nursing college, the boys hostel was for some inexplicable reasons closer to the girls hostel (midwifery hostel). It was dusk and I sat in the front of the balcony chilling until one of two loud girls who seemed to be returning from their weekend staycation shouted to the other girl, “aunty, peeing after sex can prevent pregnancy”. It was quite clear this argument had an origin and an instigator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although it sounded off and incorrect to me, I couldn’t be so sure. I have male inmates who I could ask but an introverted and feeble me wouldn’t muster the self esteem. Three years later, I know better and I feel I’m kind of qualified to put a foot on this. So, will peeing after sex reduce pregnancy? Make an answer to yourself.
